The shopping day “Black Friday” expands into international online trading. On 29 November the event will be available in Germany and Russia.
Black Friday is based on the idea that several leading online retailers provide exclusive offers and deals online for one day only. The Click Frenzy event 2012 in Australia, which was inspired by Black Friday, shows the enormous potential of the project. More than 10% of all Australians increased the participating traders turnover by approximately 250% in 24 hours.
An overwhelming number of traders and online shops will be represented on 29 November, including Apple, Gravis, Saturn, Deichmann, Galeria Kaufhof, The Body Shop, Dell, Runners Point, Yves Rocher as well as Groupon, and in Russia, to name but a few.
Konrad Kreid, CEO of Black Friday sale, comments: "In the recent years many German retailers have already launched their own actions on the occasion of Black Friday, some portals collect these offers at the same time. But a huge sale with hundreds of top partners and millions exclusive deals – that has never been in the German online trading before, for sure."
