Berlin based Premium Exhibitions has announced the winners of their seasonal Premium Young Designers Award for the categories womenswear, menswear, accessories and activewear.
The young talents will be supported on both B2B and B2C levels for two seasons. During the first season, Premium will provide B2B opportunities and offer the designers their own presentation spaces at the Premium trade show. In addition in the following season, the labels are able to showcase their collections at Galeries Lafayette in Berlin.
Here are the winners:
Menswear: Dima Leu takes sportswear to a new level. Born in Moldova and raised in Italy, Dima completed his Fashion Design degree in 2013 at the University of Venice and subsequently developed his Sport Suit project.
Womenswear: Roberta Einer studied Art & Design at Central Saint Martins in London and successfully completed a degree in Fashion Design at the University of Westminster and founded her brand, named after herself, in September 2015.
Accessoires: Ejin Zhang Ejing launched her jewellery line in 2015. Her brand has quickly grown and is sold in boutiques from New York to London and Shanghai.
Activewear: The Swiss label Pyrates develops super-smart textiles that heal, soothe and look after the body.
