VF Corporation recently announced Nina Flood as new president of Eastpak and Markus Hamm as vice president and general manager, Kipling EMEA. Both will start in their new positions April 1, 2020.
Flood will work from Antwerp, Belgium where the brands’ marketing and sales operations are based and will report to Martino Scabbia Guerrini, executive vice president and group president, EMEA.
“I’d like to congratulate Nina on her new position,” said Scabbia Guerrini. “Her 17 years of experience with VF combined with her extensive knowledge of the apparel and accessories market make her an excellent fit to lead the Eastpak brand. We look forward to having her join the team.”
In her last position Flood served as president of Kipling Americas. After joining VF in 2003 as senior director of marketing for the Nautica brand (formerly part of VF Corporation), she quickly progressed in her career holding various senior positions, including leading global marketing and strategy for Nautica before joining the Kipling brand in 2016. Prior to joining VF, Flood spent 10 years with Guess, Inc., holding various marketing and brand leadership roles.
Hamm will also be based in Antwerp and reports to Vera Breuer, global president of Kipling. Breuer said: “With many years of market experience and a successful track record across sales, marketing and digital, combined with excellent leadership skills, he is the perfect fit to lead our brand growth in the region.”
Hamm joined VF in 2004 and held various key sales positions for Jansport and Eastpak, including sales director, DTC & strategic accounts director and most recently taking over wholesale, strategic accounts, sales operations and digital for the Eastpak brand. Hamm will be responsible for leading the Kipling EMEA organization, maximizing business and financial objectives and overseeing the general execution for all functions.
