Special guest of the 81st edition of Pitti Uomo (Jan. 10-13, 2012) will be the Valentino maison presenting its new Valentino menswear collection.
“We are very happy that Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, creative directors of Valentino, have accepted our invitation,” commented Raffaello Napoleone, CEO, Pitti Immagine. “Their visionary, and pragmatic approach, tradition and innovation uniquely merge: it is an element that Pitti Immagine has always been appreciating and looking for in fashion designers. We have been following Chiuri and Piccioli since their first presentations in Paris through which they shortly developed a clear poetic and defined style. It was the time that Pitti offered them a stage where they could present their new Valentino menswear vision through a catwalk show.”
On January 11, 2012, the two designers will present their f/w 2012/2013 menswear collection as an absolute premiere catwalk show at an artistic location in Florence.
