Reed Exhibitions and Performance Days have announced the postponement of the US editions of their textile trade show Functional Fabric Fair powered by Performance Days. The Portland event will move from 16-19 November, 2020 to 14-15 April, 2021. Additionally, Functional Fabric Fair New York, previously rescheduled from July 2020 to January 2021, will now move to 19-20 July, 2021.

“Because the health and safety of all those involved with Functional Fabric Fair events remain our top priority, we have made the decision to delay meeting in person until spring 2021. While we sincerely miss seeing our peers face to face at events, we remain focused on what we can do right now through virtual platforms to help our community connect and press forward,” says Steve McCullough, Functional Fabric Fairs event director.

Organizers now aim to shift industry connections and commerce again to the digital world, the FFF360 Connects online community. Already this summer, on 20-23 July, Functional Fabric Fairs hosted industry professionals for the first FFF360 Connects expert talks live webinar series, featuring twelve interactive education sessions on trending industry topics. Reed Exhibitions and Performance Days will announce details of virtual fall programming in the near future.
