The Beitlich Family Foundation, owner of sustainable speciality chemicals company CHT Group headquartered in Tübingen/Germany, has appointed Elke Katz as an additional member of the Foundation's Board of Directors, which includes the function of Supervisory Board, on 1 September 2021. Elke Katz is currently CEO of Ratioform Verpackungen GmbH, a company of the Haniel Group, based in Munich.
Katz has cross-industry experience in strategic and operational corporate management at companies such as BMW and Telefonica. She holds a degree in business engineering and has know-how in customer experience management, digital business and business development.

We are therefore delighted to have gained a proven digitization expert for our board. The Beitlich Family Foundation now again consists of five members, in addition to Elke Katz and Johan de Ruiter, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Götz Gresser (Vice Chairman), Dr. Antje von Dewitz and Prof. Dr. Klaus Müller.
CHT Group is divided in the departments Textile Solutions (working on the quality, functionality as well as look and purity of textiles and optimize their manufacturing processes), Industry Solutions (providing products for silicones, building materials, paints, coatings, paper, agrochemicals as well as cleaning and care products) and Science & Service (offering innovative products, applications or processes across segments). According to the company, CHT is represented by more than 26 companies worldwide and in 2020 generated a group turnover of €501 million with around 2,300 employees.
