Heidi Otto took over the position of director of international sales at Liebeskind Berlin on October 1, 2017. She replaced the managing director sales, Sanjiv Singh, who left the company at his own request on September 30, 2017. Otto has been working since 2015 for the brand and previously responsible for its retail, fashion, sales, franchise and depot business divisions in Germany. Here, she shares her private side.

What do you want to change at your new position? 

Focus on the right balance of distribution in terms of channels and quality.

If not your current job, what would you do in another life?

Nothing else, fashion is my passion.

Where do you prefer to buy–apart from the brand?

Small multibrand stores.

How would you describe your clothing style? 

Clean, a bit sporty and a bit "rocking."

Quite spontaneously: What is the favorite item of clothing that you own?

This changes all the time, at the moment my Liebeskind Starlite leather jacket.

What was your first pair of jeans?

Levi's 501 (now you know my age).

What was your worst fashion sin ever?

Moon washed jeans combined with a red wisp of hair...

Which part or product is at the top of your wish list? 

Cowboy boots from Isabel Marant

Who is your favorite designer?

Obviously Morgan Diguerher! (Apart from him Hedi Slimane and Tom Ford.)
